Staff

I joined the staff of Village Church in the summer of 2018. I previously served churches in Illinois and Iowa. Originally from Texas, I am a graduate of Howard Payne University and Dallas Theological Seminary. My ministry mission is to preach with passion and to lead with purpose for the glory of God. I love seeing people come to know the hope, grace and freedom that we can have through Jesus Christ. My beautiful wife Anne and I have four kids: Jack, Will, Emma and Luke. As a family, we love spending time together playing games, exploring Minnesota, and having family adventures.

I started working at Village at the beginning of the 2023 school year. I have been involved in youth ministry since 2014 in a variety of different roles and locations. I grew up in a small town in central Minnesota, so the small town feel and bitter cold days are quite familiar to me! I am a graduate of Moody Bible Institute with a degree in Biblical Studies. My passion for youth ministry stems from my own experiences as a teenager. When I was younger, I had the blessing of having multiple spiritual mentors in my life. They consistently met with me, encouraged me, and pointed me to Jesus. It is from the impact that those leaders made that I have the desire to do it for others. I want teenagers to know the life and joy found only in Jesus! I have been married to my wife, Erin, since 2016. Together we have two children, Josiah and Laura. Watching football, playing video games, and camping are just a few of the things I love to do!

Kelly and her husband, Bryan, have been at Village since 2004 and are the parents of two daughters. She joined the staff as Office Manager in 2021 after serving as a financial secretary for nine years. She enjoys living out her faith by serving the church.

My passion is to see the music here at Village move people to worship God from Sunday mornings to every moment of their lives! In 2022, I went from being a contracted worship leader at Village to loving the church so much came on staff! I have led worship for 20 some years in South Dakota and Wisconsin. My undergraduate degree is from Bethel University and my M.A. in Bible and Theology is from Kairos University, formerly Sioux Falls Seminary. My extraordinarily beautiful wife, Martha, grew up near Worthington, MN and is the Dean of Student Engagement at Crown College. We just celebrated 25 years of marriage and have 3 children: John (in college), Charlie (in high school) and Faith (in elementary). I grew up near St. Cloud, MN and our family enjoys exploring Minnesota, going for long walks and bike rides and watching family movies together.
