Sunday Set List — October

In a month deeply exploring God’s Word for us in 1 Timothy, we are reminded that discipleship is personal–passed down from those who love us, about the God who loves us like none other. In this environment, we learn how to be the family of God.

October 6: This is Amazing Grace | We Believe | What a Beautiful Name | Communion: Jesus Messiah | Amazing Grace
October 13: Chain Breaker | Glorious Day (Stanfill) | Gracefully Broken | Build My Life | Better
October 20: Music from Crown College Band
October 27: Glorious Day (Casting Crowns) | O Praise the Name | Is He Worthy | Revelation Song | Behold the Lamb

Our call as worshippers is to let our lives sing out the truth of our songs, and our responsibility is to hold on to the promises of God, many of which we sing, this month. Let me share one from each song this month:
October 6: God breaks the power of sin and darkness, God is coming back again, death could not hold Jesus/cannot hold us, Jesus became sin for us
October 13: If you give your fear/troubles to Jesus He will deliver you, Because of the resurrection we have a future, if we hold nothing back, and surrender all to Jesus, He will fill us with joy and hope, God is trustworthy, Jesus is the name above every other name–the only one who could ever save, God’s love is better than life.
October 27: Jesus loved us, saved us, and carried our sin far away. He justified us freely, forever and is coming again for us. When He does come back, in epic fashion, we will look at Jesus face (and live)! He is worthy of all glory, has made us to reign with Him, and to Him will be all blessing, honor, praise and glory. The Father’s heart was displayed for us, and Jesus bore our shame, paid the cost for us on the cross.

Hallelujah! Those are beautiful truths, sung. Do we realize the beauty of music, to declare these glorious promises and truths in unison?

I am delighted with what God will do in our midst, this fall. Also, I am praying for you, that in our time together you would be moved to deep joy and receive God’s love and the Spirit’s leading in our time together–repentance, comfort, conviction, the feeling of being cared for and watched over by a mighty, meek, loving God.
